Download and run NexDemo.exe to install the demo.
The setup will install a trial version of NexStorm, NexMap, NexDrive (Windows 2000/XP device driver installer),
a sample vector map and documentation in PDF format. To read documents bundled with this package you
will need Adobe® Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later.
Minimum system requirements:
- Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP with 40 to 128MB of RAM depending on which Windows version you are using
- Pentium processor or equivalent, 100MHz (recommended minimum 200MHz to use all available features)
- 3 MB disk space for application, additional space needed for archives
- Display adapter capable of at least 800x600 screen resolution, 256 colors
- To detect lightning, a Boltek ISA or PCI StormTracker card or LD250 detector is required
- To upload screenshots and data to the Internet, a web account with FTP support and a direct
connection is required
Demo version limitations:
- Maximum capture of 1000 strikes per daily archive
- Data export interval minimum is 5 minutes
- Screenshot interval minimum is 3 minutes
- TRAC Report generation interval minimum is 30 minutes
- TRAC Report upload is disabled
- FlashGate IPC 1 and 2 skips every other event
- Setting Receiver activation to "Enable on startup" has no effect
- Virtual Memory allocation control has no effect
- CVM Map snapshot is disabled
- CVM center adjustment is disabled
- Archive extraction utility and user manual is not included
in this distribution
